Popular Light Weight Mini Starter. Used on most all Big Block, Small Block, V-6, Slant 6, Gen II Hemi & some Gen III Applications using a Torqueflite Transmission and most all Manual Transmission Bell Housings except Original Street Hemi Bell Housings.

Has removeable electrical bridge on side for additional clearance required on Big Blocks.
Major Advantage over Original Mopar Standard Style Starter found on 1988 and earlier Slant 6,V-8 & V-6 Engines
Has Permanent Magnet Fields that generally are not effected by Heat as bad as original Full Size Wound Fields starter.
Works with many header applications, But some headers still require either a rotational Head starter , like our 9523, or our EXTREME Mini and Compact Starter # 61R274
