Idler Assembly
must add appropriate spacer and bolts
Idler Bracket & Pulley Assembly used on all 1969-72 Big Block applications with A/C without Leece Neville alternator. Can also be used on 1967-68 applications but the mounting hole and slot are reversed
Used on factory A/C Engines using original RV2 compressor, 4700 or 4710 to mount and tension a Belt that aligns with the outer groove on the Crankshaft Pulley (4013) and the outer Groove on the Water Pump Pulley (4016)
Must also use 2465381 Dog Bone Spacer on Alternator Mounting Brackets that were made of Cast Iron & mounted to the front of the Cylinder Head along with correct length (2) 3/8"-16 Bolts
Must also use 2951176 Dog Bone Spacer when using Our BPE 5253 & 5254 Alternator Bracket kits along with correct length (2) 3/8"-16 Bolts
Usually works with 2 -3/8"-16 x 5" bolts (not Included)
