 If you need a steering box, you must send your rebuildable core for inspection. If your steering box is an acceptable rebuildable core, we will then send a remanufactured unit out immediately to you.

Mopar 1966-1972 Power Steering Box.
Quality Remanufactured Power Steering Gear Box fits most 1972 and Earlier RWD Chrysler Vehicles and Full Size Vans. Will not Fit Pickup Trucks. Fits Most all 1966-1972 A,B,E Bodies and B Vans.. Some C bodies had them also.... Measure splined diameter of output shaaft. It must measure 1 1/8" (1.125")

Note: 1-1959-1972  P.S. Box has SMALLER splined output shaft than 1973 and Later/will not interchange on most Vehicles. Exterior appearance Looks the same. 1966-1972 has 1 1/8" Spline

2-Return Nipple normally Bolted to power control valve in front is not included. You Must retain yours or Order BPE2215 for 1967 and later vehicles. The Nipple is located in the front and is usually retained w 2-7/16" Hex Headed bolts

3-1972 and earlier Steering boxes had a Pressure Fitting in top of Power Control Valve. Remove yours before core is returned/they do not come with remanufactured steering Box.

4-Always use Mopar Power Steering Fluid or a Brand Name that meets or excedes Mopar Power Steering Fluid Standards.

5-DO NOT USE ANY FORM OF TRANSMISSION FLUID

6-Always Flush Power Steering Pump Reservoir and Lines before Refilling and Starting Vehicle

7-DO NOT LOOSEN POWER CONTROL VALVE 1/2" HEADED BOLTS, USED TO RETAIN TO STEERING BOX

8-We will not sell any 1033 steering box, unless you have a good , rebuildable core
