Products: Throttle Bodies

All F&B products are CNC machined from the highest quality raw materials. Body material is 6061-T6 aluminum with a clear sulfuric anodized coating. F&B shafts are machined from 17-4PH stainless steel or moly-coated 303 stainless steel. F&B butterfly plates are made from 6061-T651 aluminum or aluminum bronze, depending on the application. All bearings are high-speed ABEC 3 ball bearings with high temperature grease.

You need to enlarge the bore to get the big flow numbers. Most stock throttle bodies are manufactured from aluminum castings. Once the casting is machined, thin walls, porosity, and/or casting defects compromise the integrity of the throttle body. This is where high-quality billet aluminum comes in, while F&B throttle bodies flow more than any other throttle body with the same bore size.
